Morning Folks, I went to remount the MMM on my BX2660 yesterday and the mower lift arms are stuck in the up position. I take the MMM on and off quit a bit but I can't figure out this problem. I had been running the tractor with the MMM off, life arms retracted, and deck height dial set to top. Over the years my understanding is that the front of the deck should be slightly lower than the rear. Supposedly that gives a better cut, with the deck slightly angled into the grass. The gauge wheels are set in the 3" position, the rear lift rods are set in the 2.75" position. You might need to try disconnecting the outside rod and using vise grips to exercise the lever. Finally, attempt to turn the PTO shaft manually. When shifted one way, it should be free, turning very easily. When shifted the other way, it should be connected to the PTO driveshaft, clutch, and turn much harder.
